A day in the life....

... of an environmental geologist. Yep, that's me. I know I focus this blog on my crafting hobby/job/business, but I also work part time as an environmental geologist.
a day in the life....

I remembered my camera today and decided to take a video of me standing around freezing my ass off watching the drillers install a bedrock well. is it really only october???? It's friggin fridgid out there! We drilled all day yesterday too and when i got home I couldn't get the chill out of my bones.... so not ready for even colder weather. the downside of my job, I love working outside in the summer, even during heatwaves, the heat doesn't bother me. but the cold! hot damn, let it drop below 65 and my nose turns red and runny and I'm cold! it was in the high 40s yesterday, overcast, sucked! anyways, here's a short video of what i sometimes do at the dayjob....

And what a good job you are doing! You deserve a raise, heat lamps and maybe your own on site yurt for relaxing! :)

Well, gee, thanks! Now I see all the ruckus you've been talking about! At least the scenery makes up for it!
