She's here!!!!

That's right, the Magnolia Skies website is a she. And she's here and better than ever. I've just revamped a portion of the site, with the rest soon to be revamped to the new format as time permits. I hate having her in two formats, but hey, a woman's gotta get her sleep when a little man starts calling at 7 am. As it is, here I am at midnight. That's less than 8 hours of sleep tonight. Geez! Anyways, go check her new look out. And like I said, pardon the appearance (which likely means broken links too, eek!). I'd love any feedback :)

Hmmm for some reason I'm not able to add links right now, so go use the link over in the right margin. Or copy and paste http://www.magnoliaskies.com/

Hot damn that's two posting in one day!

getting back in the groove

I'm not completely there, but I'm getting there. On my ride home from the dayjob the other day I was thinking about this poor neglected blog, and added it to my list of things to get back into the groove with. Even if it's just a once weekly posting. So to start it off I'll share some of my favorite pictures from the past couple months.... some of which are proof that I still am being crafty, just behind the scenes :)

Tanner's second festival at 3 months, vending Philadelphia Folk Fest with Andrea and Natasha. We had so much fun and even got to hang out with Justine and Danielle who were also vending, so many talented ladies!

I love this picture, taken by Justine of Potomacrivergoods.com of Tanner wearing one of her batiks. This is my favorite shirt of the summer too. Another thing I've been doing behind the scenes is playing around in photoshop. I added a "seventies" effect to the picture, love it!

And more proof of my behind the scenes craftiness- an organic cotton beanie I crocheted up for Tanner the other day. I think I may add these to my website too :)

And more photoshop techniques, love this picture, Pat captured so much emotion in it. This was Tanner's first swim.

I'm also in the process of redoing my website, I've almost got the homepage all set, I'll share when it's up and running. I felt like I needed to streamline things a bit since I have less time than ever to devote to it. Hopefully this redo will make updating just a bit quicker. And with the new website will come LOTS of new goods, I've photographed and edited almost all of my leftover festival stock. And I've added a some of it already to my etsy shop in the meantime :)
I've been putting most of our family pictures up on my flickr account, which you can find the link for over in the right margin.... so glad I bought that big boy camera for my birthday last year :)
OK I'm off to try to be a little productive while the little guy naps, we had a big day of tree fruit picking.... I think we should be stocked up on apples, peaches, nectarines, and pears for the rest of the winter. At least based on how much we spent, haha! whoops :)
