rockin' and rollin'

things have gotten quite hectic over at the dayjob this week.  i have a per diem schedule (ahem, lack of schedule)- some weeks i work an hour or two, most weeks i work 8-12 hours, and occasionally there are weeks i work close to 30.  this happens to be a week that has me traveling close to 200 miles in a day twice.  oh and those 150 miles in one day at the end of last week (thank goodness for getting paid to drive and getting paid a mileage rate on top of that).  and those million (ok, just a tad bit of exaggeration here) reports that will come along soon.

so what i'm getting at is it will likely be a bit quiet around here for a few days :)

so i'll share my first yarn bomb sighting with you.  just pardon the crappy two o'clock in the morning cell phone with no flash picture :)  i've been seeing other people's sightings all over the internet, so i got very excited when i stumbled upon this one the other night.  it was in hartford right after the ryan montbleau band (have you heard these guys?  no?  go check it out, you might just fall in love) show as we were walking to our car.  it was the cherry on top for such an awesome night of music.

Enjoy, what sounds to be a busy week.

I've done a bit of yarn bombing, but haven't seen any. I'll keep looking.

Good luck on your busy busy week.

So cool! I've never stumbled upon one of these myself, but my knitting circle did a huge one last summer. They went incognito in blond wigs. :) I didn't join up because I was 8 months pregnant at the time. Glad you had a great night and thanks for the welcome to new england!
