“For children, nature comes in many forms. A newborn calf; a pet that lives and dies; a worn path through the woods; a fort nested in stinging nettles; a damp, mysterious edge of a vacant lot- whatever shape nature takes, it offers each child an older, larger world… nature does not steal time; it amplifies it.” -Richard Louv

first i want to wish you all a very happy fall! i apologize for posting so late in the day lately, i've been dealing with a sick computer that makes it sometimes impossible to get anything done. i foresee this being an issue for the near future... i will definitely be posting each week, it just may not be in the morning like i'd like to to be. unfortunately i am at the mercy of my computer and her flaky ways!mother nature welcomed us into the autumn equinox with bright blue skies, a warm sun, and a cool breeze. we celebrated the first day of fall with a walk in the state forest by our home. the day before we had a windy rainstorm, which made for a good collecting day on our walk- acorns, leaves, and sticks were bountiful! we didn't make it too far off the state forest road (which luckily for us is closed to cars), but it was still a beautiful day to be surrounded by the forest! i hope you all are enjoying the first days of fall!
^^trying out some new kicks! chacos- so far much better than my old tevas. these were a fabulous thrift store find, not sure yet if i'll invest in a brand new pair. i'm still hoping to find a pair of gently used keens at the thrift store to make my purchase decision.
